Resato cutting head

The Resato cutting head type VJW is suitable for cutting with pure water or for cutting with water and abrasive. The abrasive cutting head has a Long Life mixing chamber with only two wearing parts:

• water nozzle 
• mixing tube.

The cutting head is pre-aligned. The water nozzle and the mixing tube can be replaced without use of special tools. Thus standstill periods for the required replacement of wearing parts in the cutting heads can be reduced to a minimum.

Together with the electronic feeder designed by Resato, you will achieve an optimum cut with minimum abrasive material.

During waterjet cutting operations, the pressure in the feeder and in the abrasive supply system up to the mixing chamber are closely monitored. This ensures that only a limited and regulated volume of air is allowed through. Together with precise dosing of the abrasive, this results in optimum waterjet quality.

The angle of cut is thereby safeguarded and in many cases it is no longer necessary to purchase an expensive and complex multi-axis compensated contour cutting machine.
