The newly developed Jetlift Linear Z is equipped with a linear drive system. The Jetlift Linear Z is provided with an integrated automatic height sensor. The cutting head, as part of the linear Z, is provided with a built-in collision protection.

The height sensor also detects obstacles, for instance protruding cut parts, to make sure that the cutting machine will stop automatically. In this way the machine is protected against collision damage.

The Jetlift drive system is provided with a maintenance free air bearing.

After starting the cutting process the cutting head will be placed at the right height above the work piece. During cutting the distance between the cutting head and the workpiece will be measured and adjusted, if necessary. tTe height sensor measures at a pre-selected time interval.

The Jetlift Linear Z-axis is equipped with a quick-change system for the cutting head.
