A shared history to build upon

Resato International B.V. and IK-Norway have strengths in the oil & gas industry. The high pressure expert from the Northern Netherlands provides safe high pressure equipment to the upstream sector since its founding date in 1991. Similarly, IK provided the oil and gas industry with pipe and pipeline services and products since its founding date in 1987.

Introducing a new division

For IK-Norway, the addition of high pressure equipment is a long-term decision for the growth of the organization. Having had experience with Resato equipment in their workshops, they were aware of the quality, performance, and lifetime of portable pump skids from the Dutch expert. Due to their activities in many high pressure applications, the expansion into the distribution of high pressure equipment is a step towards sustaining its position in the oil & gas sector in Norway. The new division at IK Norway calls itself “Torque & Pressure Technology”.

Standing together at the OTD 2017

The partnership starts off with the OTD in Stavanger, a main upstream oil & gas event in Norway. IK-Norway and Resato announced their partnership which begins on November 1. For both companies, the exhibition was a great opportunity to speak about challenges in servicing, pressure testing, calibration, well control, and other applications relating to high pressure with the customers, prospects, and opinion leaders of the industry.
