On September 21, Resato has been awarded the MVO certificate. This certification recognizes social and sustainable involvement in the Northern Netherlands by analyzing business performance towards the three Ps (People, Planet, and Profit). Ton Driessen, COO/CFO of Resato, represented the company during the ceremony in Assen.
The councilor of Assen, Mr. Albert Smit handed over the certificate at the venue of “Assen voor Assen”, a local public-private initiative aims to develop and share knowledge and to drive initiatives to promote the societal and sustainable development of Assen.
To develop its people, Resato continuously invests into training programs and provides an online learning platform to help the onboarding of new employees to the company. Moreover, the high pressure expert works closely together with regional universities for graduation projects and internship programs. Working with universities, the company works on the development of the hydrogen economy in the Northern Netherlands by focusing on providing flexible filling station solutions.
“I was proud to be handed the MVO certificate for a recognized social and sustainable mode of operations and entrepreneurship. This means that we demonstrate good practical applications on each of the categories People, Planet and Profit that contribute to the circular, inclusive economy and the society in Northern Netherlands”, said Ton Driessen about the achievement.
