Assen, the Netherlands. On Saturday 20^th of May, more than 1,300 visitors experienced the High Tech Discovery Tour of the Dutch Technology week in the Northern Netherlands. An impressive closure of the national Dutch Technology Week, 2017. At Resato International, located in Assen, the open day revolved around the hydrogen economy.

Besides own staff, who had the opportunity to show family and friends their workplace, young families, students, potential new employees and business relations visited the High Tech Discovery Tour. The public interest in hydrogen has grown in the past months and everyone wanted to see a hydrogen filling station and the hydrogen cars.

Experiencing the future in augmented reality, or operating a waterjet machine in virtual reality, everything was possible at Resato International. With over 300 visitors, the day turned out to be great. ‘Visitors enjoyed the many hydrogen activities, the guided tours right through the production hall, and a snack or fries at the end’, says Sven Reiffers, Marketing employee at Resato. ‘Visitors, participating companies, Resato employees, we want to thank everyone for making it such a perfect day’, he adds.
