Sheet metalworking of tomorrow The 5 elements of success!

On 15 and 16 May, the third edition of the Twente Technology Days will take place in the Voortman Experience Center in Rijssen. Once again, the emphasis will be on knowledge transfer, with this time the overarching theme: 'Plate processing of tomorrow, five elements of success'.

During this edition, more attention will be paid to the processing of the thick plate. During the previous 2 years the emphasis was on working on a thin plate. This year there will be a wider focus thus a more interesting event for the sheet metal working industry.

The main purpose of the Technology Days Twente is to transfer technological knowledge to the sheet metal working industry. For the third time, the event will be held in the Voortman Experience Centre in Rijssen and consists of a Dutch-language day on 15 May and a German-language day on 16 May. TRUMPF, SafanDarley, Voortman Steel Machinery, Lissmac, Valk Welding and Resato International will be present as participating companies this year. Foreign companies participating are the Italian Faccin and the German Kohler Maschinenbau.

Each participating company gives a workshop on one of the five elements of success; hardware, software, logistics, service and personnel. Some workshops will also be combined with the demonstration of machines.

Panel discussion

On the Dutch day, 15 May, the director of FPT-VIMAG, Ramon Dooijewaard, will open the event and later lead the panel discussion. For more information about the program, the workshops and the possibility to participate in the Technology Days Twente or workshops will soon be announced by the organization.
