Abrasive Management Case introduction

Resato aims to reduce downtime to a minimum and further reduce the competitive gap between waterjet cutting and both laser- and plasma cutting. The products related to what we call 'Abrasive Management' tend to achieve these goals. During the cutting process, we want to make sure that you can benefit from a continuous abrasive flow for a long period of time and thus limit the need to refill the abrasive. 

Resato effectively focussed on creating a continuous abrasive flow in order to reduce the downtime. Take the abrasive continuous supply; The vessel contains an automatic controlled pressure system to fill-up a small pressure vessel to transport the abrasive to the cutting machine. A large abrasive silo stores the abrasive and can be replenished at any time. As a result, the cutting process does not get interrupted due to a low level of abrasive, since the storage silo can be refilled during the cutting process. 

The abrasive removal system, type RS3, makes sure the water/abrasive mixture is pumped from the ACM machine's catcher into a so-called big bag filter. After separation of the abrasive, the water is pumped back into the catcher, making the process more efficient.
