Waterjet cutting machines

The basis of a waterjet cutting machine is the table. A robust table provides stability when cutting materials. The cutting table contains the bridge that moves the cutting head on an its X-Y axes. Different drive technologies are available. For our waterjet cutting machines, we use linear drive technology to provide accuracy and reduce maintenance costs. With waterjet cutting a high water output pressure is needed. The high pressure pump, type PJ, of Resato creates a high water pressure by using the intensifier principle. A water output pressure of 4,000 bar can be generated by a relative low oil pressure of 200 bar. When multiple waterjet pumps are desired, the pump skid option is recommended. The pump skid controls the complete water management when using multiple pumps on a single or multiple waterjet cutting machines. The waterjet pump can be further extended with several features, such as an air cooler or water cooler and a softstarter.
