Waterjet Cutting Technology Gain the knowledge you need
Waterjet cutting technology
Waterjet cutting is one of the most versatile production techniques. With this technology, a wide range of materials can be cut. Waterjet cutting also reduces the finishing of finished products. This versatility and reduction of finishing has led to an increase in popularity in the production environment. High-pressure pumps are needed to ensure consistent and reliable results. Resato is your expert for waterjet cutting systems. Our robust and flexible system solutions enable you to grow your business.
How it works
How it works
With waterjet cutting, cutting materials are cut by a high-pressure water stream. By adding an abrasive (abrasive) the cutting force is increased and it is possible to cut through the hardest materials. With a high-pressure pump, which increases the pressure to 4,000 bar, the water jet cutting machine can cut almost any material. By using waterjet cutting, heat damage will be eliminated because the cutting is carried out under cold conditions. This leads to a safe workplace and an environmentally friendly process.
Waterjet cutting is known for its versatility in cutting various materials, such as aluminum, steel, copper and titanium. Glass, plastics and composite materials can also be processed well because the process does not generate heat or vapours.
