It was a great day for Resato at the nomination event of the “Drenthe Onderneming van het Jaar 2017” Contest which certifies the most successful organizations in the region of Drenthe in the Northern Netherlands.

For the first time, Resato has been nominated for this award. “We were surprised and feel honored to be nominated for this award”, said Rob Castien, CEO of Resato, about the nomination for the award.

3-Minute Pitch: An organization with dedication and vision

On October 4, several nominated companies gave a three-minute pitch presentation trying to convince the jury of their efforts to be a social and successful organization supporting the regional economy. “It is our greatest objective to help customers make quality business decisions to improve their business. Therefore, we work closely together with our local suppliers and are in constant exchange with universities for projects”, stated Rob Castien after the event. During his presentation, he tried to depict the complex business environment of Resato with applications in pressure testing, chemical injection, gas and liquid compression, waterjet cutting, and others which are found in various industrial segments. Moreover, he emphasized Resato’s vision to build an infrastructure for hydrogen mobility in the Northern Netherlands together with regional partners.

Such innovative business development requires skills and competencies which Resato shares through an e-learning platform within the organization. Knowledge exchange within the company is easier and onboarding of new employees becomes more efficient.

November: The Awarding Ceremony

After a company visit of the jury to Resato and the other two finalists, BPZ and Waterking, the award will be handed out on November 16 in De Nieuwe Kolk in Assen. “With BPZ and Waterking, there are two other great finalists for the award and it was great to see their pitches at today’s event. We are looking forward to the visit of the jury and the award ceremony in November”, says Rob Castien.
